And what I mean by hours of strolling is that literally we’ve had been crossing one and the same street for several times in a desperate search for that alternative gift shop that will match perfectly with our arty taste. You know, usually designer souvenir shops like London’s We built this city, Lisbon’s Lisbon lovers & Drogaria Central, Athens’ Anamnesia Gift Shop are like the hidden gems in the tourist destinations and you will have to research in advance in order to find that vintage souvenir postcard transferring the spirit of the city you are visiting. And when you find that holy local design shop you feel like you are in paradise and you can’t decide what to buy.

Well, this is what Sofia has been missing. We took this seriously and jumped on a mission for the creation of the best alternative Sofia souvenir shop. It has already been 6 months since we’ve opened GIFTED SOFIA and we are proud that not only tourists but also local Sofia residents stop by, dig like little kids for treasures, and in the end grant their dearest people with authentic and contemporary Bulgarian design.
