Christo, Vlado, Rosen and the floating piers

Working on the piers is the freest and happiest time of my journalistic career. In fact, it was there that I stopped being a journalist and became a boat captain, embarking on a journey on a forever changed lake. So I want to tell everything I saw above and below the surface of Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s “Floating Piers.”

Evgenia Atanasova – Teneva is a journalist and avid researcher of the work of Christo and Jeanne-Claude. She is the author of documentaries and articles dedicated to their works. She has been closely observing Christo’s works for more than a decade, having met the artist many times. The two talk about both his specific works and his life. These interviews and research will be part of an upcoming full biography of Christo. During the construction of the “Floating Piers” on Lake Iseo, the journalist participated for the first time as a worker in the project.
