Dimitar Voev (1965–1992) is a Bulgarian poet, composer and musician, whose most active period covers the years around the fall of the Berlin Wall.
He is the founder and frontman of a number of musical groups (“Paradox”, “Entrance B”, “Wocek and Chugra”, “Kale”), the most famous of which is the cult “New Generation”, whose style Voev defines as “cold wave”.
The most popular Bulgarian member of the legendary “Club 27” left behind 12 notebooks with manuscripts. They are dated between 1981 and 1992, but some of the poems have reasons to believe that they were written earlier. “Unread” is based entirely on the manuscript archive of Dimitar Voev and for the first time presents his work in an authentic and complete form.
